Interviewing various lawyers in December 2019, l met with Shay and was surprised at how young she looked. She's the age of my daughters and I wondered would she be capable of handling my divorce which would involve several million dollars of property and division of other assets. Did she have enough experience? Another concern of mine was that, even though I would be hiring her for her knowledge of the legal system, I wanted to actively share the bottom line decisions on how certain things would be handled. She agreed to work with me. When I wanted to fly off the handle, she would give me Calm and appropriate advice as to my next move. She even explained that certain things would be much more expensive thus disproving the idea that ALL attorneys are just about the money. She of course, needs to make a living, but the amount of work she did and the manner which it was done, she was worth every penny of it and then some! I kept my faith in her, and she never let me down. She guided me in the right directions all the way through, and she was very easy to work with. I actually consider her a friend at this point and she not only helped me monetarily get through this divorce, she truly was there emotionally. So don't let her youth lead you to believe that she doesn't have the courage, compassion, and knowledge to represent anyone in need of legal assistance.

Josh handled my very difficult case that my ex-wife tried to have transferred to Illinois from Michigan. Josh was able to create a solid case indicating how my ex was not being truthful, to the point that my ex and her attorney withdrew their case. I would highly recommend Josh Stern for any kind of divorce case, messy or otherwise, especially if children are involved [which was the case in my situation].
